SLT’s communication solutions to Mount Lavinia Hotel

Sri Lanka Telecom this week announced the signing of an agreement with Mount Lavinia Hotel, an SLT press release said. The company will offer total voice communication solution by providing state-of-the-art PABX system for several departments as well as all of the hotel rooms, along with high-speed Internet connectivity.

The agreement, which is projected to cut down costs of internal communication and increase productivity resulting from cost effective real time communication, also helps to enhance capabilities of the customer as well as making operations smoother, the statement said.

Explaining the reasons why the hotel chose SLT as its service provider, Mount Lavinia Hotel Chairman Sanath Ukwatte said, “SLT has built a reputation over the years as a company that is a growing strength in the field of information technology. We foresaw that connectivity would play a significant role in communication, thus we chose SLT, as it was a reliable company.”

SLT CEO Shoji Takahashi said “Mount Lavinia Hotel is a long term client of SLT and this solution will produce desired cost savings while maintaining the required communication needs of the Hotel.”

He said SLT has serviced many leisure sector institutions and had great success with SLT solutions.
