At present the Sri Lankan team who finished runners-up to Australia in the 9th edition of the World Cup just concluded in the West Indies is on a week’s holiday and they will be back in business when the selectors meet to select the squad on the 8th or the 9th. Meanwhile Sri Lankan coach Tom Moody who is away in England will be back in the island on the 12th. When asked about Moody’s future with the island team Mathivanan said “We are hoping to have a discussion with him on the subject upon his return to the island on the 12th and by the 13th we will definitely know about Moody’s future plans.”
