Bodhi for Colombo East, Rosy for Colombo West

UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed one-time Hotels Corporation Chairman Bodhisiri Ranasinghe as the Party's chief electoral organiser for Colombo East, and one-time High Commissioner to Malaysia Rosy Senanayake to Colombo West.

The two electorates were jointly organised by the present Tourism Minister Milinda Moragoda. Mr. Ranasinghe, a member of the Working Committee, the Party's highest policy-making body has also been appointed Secretary Programmes and Events, and the Party's Management Secretary.

An old boy of S. Thomas' College, Mt. Lavinia, Mr. Ranasinghe has been Campaign Manager during several elections at local and national levels.

Ms. Senanayake, a former Mrs. World has been a frontline spokesperson for the Party's Women’s League and is also a member of the Working Committee.
