Thailand heat on Tigers

Thailand police have begun cracking down on Tigers after the arrest of three LTTE operatives, who were wanted for money laundering and credit card fraud running into millions of US dollars.

The three who are members of a major international financial crime gang were nabbed in a raid conducted by the Thai police in the Phuket area of Thailand. The police seized a large number of forged credit cards from the possession of these suspects. The three LTTE operatives were identified as Gnanakanthan Sivagnanam, Weerasingham Srikanth and Ganesh Murthi.
