White Christmas at Excel World - The Popular Snow entertainment for the season

Excel World is conducting the popular Snow Entertainment once again during the Christmas season for the fourth consecutive time under the Theme "White Christmas'' this year The main attractions will be the entertainment activities coupled with snow fall which will be held at the " The Dome"- the unique facility which could cater to over 500 people. "Christmas is a festive season which is enjoyed by all religions and an ideal time for family entertainment and fun, we have kept this in mind and dedicate this year's show to attract the Kids who are the main influencers in our business said Ranjan Ariyaratne General Manager of Excel world. Our Fantasy cartoon characters and, clowns are rearing to go to entertain the kids in a winter surrounding, he added.

CEO Ravi Wijenathan said they are expecting many visitors despite the war situation in the country. He said they have received over 15 bookings from the corporate sector this year for their seasonal bashes.

Mr. Wjenathan said there were visitors from villages such as Hambantota and Kataragama last year and explained that they were expecting similar crowd this year as well.

The snow show will be conducted from 1 December 2006' up to 7 January 2007' keeping the school holidays and the festive season in mind. The show times are scheduled, Monday to Thursday 3 shows commencing 6.30 p.m., 8.00 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. Friday to Sunday there will be 4 shows commencing 6pm, 730pm, 900pm, and 1030pm

The Giant Christmas tree in the country will also be on show once again at Excel World.

In addition to the snow show, Excel World will be transformed in to an area bubbling with fun- filled activities such as DJ music, Live bands, concerts, karaoke competitions, films shows and magic shows to amuse the children converting the Avenue food court into a happening place.

With the other state of the art facilities such as Cinamatrix- 4 1) motion thriller ride with a 21 minute outer space ride, Lazer Runner- competitive laser gaining, Ground Zero- multi player game center, Game Zone -arcade gaming area, Gecko Grip-Climbing wall, Shotz Pool Lounge, Strikes-12 lane cosmic Bowling Centre, a variety in cuisine with plenty of room to move around and a space to park over 300 cars ,the Management is confident that Excel World will be the most sought alter entertainment venue said.
