Husband and wife duo become SKAL members

SKAL International Colombo at its monthly meeting held at the Taj Samudra Hotel on October 12 inducted for the very first time in the history of SKAL Colombo, Sri Lanka, a husband and wife, Keethi and Dushy Jayaweera to its membership.

Keethi, Director of Aitken Spence Overseas Travel Services (Pvt) Ltd and Aitken Spence Moscow (Pvt.) Ltd. is a member of the Chartered Management Institute of UK and at present, General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Branch. He is an old boy of St. Joseph's College, Colombo.

Dushy, who joined Aset Airways in May 1978, resigned in 1994 to join M/s Hemas Air Services (Pvt) Ltd. In April 2005 she was appointed to the Board of Hemas Air Services Ltd. She is currently serving as the Deputy Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Association of Airline Representatives and is also on the executive committee of the Sri Lanka Malaysian Business Council. Dushy is also a Vice President of the Past Pupils’ Association of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya where she studied.

Dushy and Keethi were introduced to the SKAL members and guests who gathered at the luncheon meeting by President, SKAL International, Wg. Cdr. Noel Fernando.
