The person I like best

It is difficult to say whom you like best. Because there will be a few persons you like best I like Princess Diana best.

Princess Diana is so beautiful. She was tall, slim and always smiling. Any dress suited her. She wore rich jewels. She was rich too.

Princess Diana was married at the age of 19 to Prince Charles, the heir to the Throne of England. The wedding took place on July 29, 1981 and it was telecast over the television.

Everyone thought that she was the luckiest women in the world but Diana's happiness did not last long.

She had two sons, William and Harry. The Princess got herself separated from, Prince Charles.

Princess Diana took an active part in charity work. She went visiting cancer patients and helped to collect funds for them. Camera men were giving enough problems to Princess Diana by taking photographs and publishing them in papers. She used to run away from the cameramen.

She died in a car crash in Paris and it was mainly due to the cameramen. Her body was brought to England. My Goodness! The flowers that were brought by Diana lovers - men, women and children. They all showed how much they loved her.

Earth is our home

Earth is a planet. It is a huge ball of rock that travels in space around the sun. On our planet there are high mountains and hot deserts, huge oceans and freezing cold regions. Not only that, there are long rivers, nice waterfalls and thick forests.

From space, Earth looks mainly like a blue and white planet. It looks blue because water covers most of its surface. The white swirling patterns are clouds and the brown and green areas are land. Our Earth has only one moon. Earth has a diameter of over 12,700 kilometres, almost four times bigger that the moon.

At any one moment only half of Earth faces the sun. The side facing the sun has day and the other side has night. It takes 24 hours for Earth to spin around once.

Earth is made of three layers. In the centre is the core, containing an inner core of solid iron and an outer core of liquid iron. The mantle is the middle layer of Earth, made of soft rock. The crust forms the rocky outer layer of Earth.

Our home, the Earth is the best planet in the solar system.

Love and affection is what we need.
We are like flowers
A hard touch or approach;
Will make us whither
Public attention is what we need;
Our health and education we heed.
We are the future of the world.
Child abuse we cannot stand;
Treat us not like slaves;
Burden us not with hard work
Tender words uplift us,
Push us up towards actions good.
Games and play cheer us up,
So let us play and enjoy life
Peace we welcome,
Violence we shun,
War and murder of course we hate;
Companionship we cherish,
We are the future of the world.

Poem Of The Week

A toddler says Future in my hands

Everything in Nature's hand,
From the sky to this small sand.
All the flowers toss in bloom,
Mighty God who fights with gloom.
God gave me mom and my dad,
Makes me feel always not sad.
All will smile and that's my dream,
Love follows me like a stream.
If you care for this nice nature,
It will give you all its pasture.
Then when I become big and mature,
You'll leave me a good, great future.
