Sam with the Combo : Attraction at the California G. Sam the Man continues with is stint at the California Grill of the Galadari Hotel every Friday and Saturday.
He is the featured guest artiste of the Hotel and is accompanied by the Ernest Francis Combo. The Group comprises Ernest on Grand Piano, Nasen Thiyagarajah on drums, Rex Fernando on double bass with Sam The Man on saxophone and vocals. Sam's selection of the Golden Oldies and his style of presentation has made him a firm favourite with lovers of music of the days gone by. ‘The California Grill situated on the rooftop at the Hotel affords a very romantic atmosphere with a full view of the city at night, with soft music for dinners and subdued lights - to put you in the right mood’ Sam explained. Sam together with the Combo provides music for dancing too. Waltzes - cha chas - Jives - Quicktep - Slow Fox Sambar and Rock n’ Roll are the favourite dance tempos at Galadari.
