‘Shanthi’ on Rupavahini

‘Shanthi’, Wilfred Silva's cinematic direction will be telecast at 12 noon on Rupavahini channel on Sunday, May 21. The film stars Rita Ratnayake, Ashoka Ponnamperuma, Sriyani Amerasena, Oswald Jayasinghe, Nita Fernando and H. R. Jothipala.

Music directed by P. L. A. Somapala the background and playback singing is by H. R. Jothipala, Latha Walpola, Anjeline Gunathilake and Mohideen Beg.

One of the box office hits 'Sangeetha', a film made by veteran photographer Timothy Weeraratne will be telecast on Rupavahini at 12 noon on Sunday, May 28.

Vijaya Kumaratunge and Malani Fonseka play lead roles in the film which has a number of evergreen songs of H. R. Jothipala. They include 'Obey Sepa Mage Sathutai', 'Mee Piruna Suwanda Mal Wane', 'Lokaye Wenaswune Minihado', 'Ira Handa Wendala' and 'Sal Sapuna Nil Mahanel'.
