‘Bambarindu’ : Nalin’s maiden solo album on Torana label
Debut Solo Bambarindu album of Nalin Perera of Marians fame released last week under Torana label.

Sixteen brand new songs penned by Kelum Srilal, Mettasena, Hemasiri Halpita, Sampath Fernandopulle, Ananda Padmasiri, Pradeep Govinage, Haristus Waragavitha, Sedney Soyza and Nalin himself.

The music creations were done by Rohana Weerasinghe, Mahinda Bandara, Suresh Maliyedda, Prasanna Rosa, Chatheranga de Silva, Jayantha Fernando and Nalin.

Nirosha Virajini, Nily Adikari and Shanika Wanigasekera rendered their voice for few duets in this new album. The writing, music and recording took more than two years. T his is my dream come true. The whole album is with new sentimental songs and I was very keen not to include any bailas’, Nalin explained.

Nalin along with Marian have released several CDs and albums but this is his first solo ‘CD. Marians started in 1988 in Chilaw and since then Nalin led the band to the hightest place in the local music scene.

‘Omarindu, ‘Sanda Eliye’, ‘Damme’, ‘Sandaluthale’ and ‘E lova Andurue’ are some of the popular tracks from the Album.
