Dubai dates for Ramazan
With the Ramazan fast beginning within the next few days, the President has intervened to ensure the supply of dates which are widely used to break the fast.

Western Province Governor Alavi Moulana said yesterday that normally Saudi Arabia gifted about 100 tons of dates for the pasting period. But this year due to a crop failure, Saudi Arabia had indicated its inability to donate the dates. Therefore, the President had intervened and allocated funds to import 50 tons of dates from Dubai, Mr. Moulana said.
