Taking advertising to the grave?

This sign by a well-known clothing retailer can be found all over the Borella cemetery on the many pathways leading to the graves. Just across the road and next to Jayaratne's and Manamperi Funeral Directors, there are huge billboards of HSBC and a shampoo company, advertising their products.
