Badulla and Gampaha emerged victorious in the Inter-District Beach Kabaddi Championship 2017 held at the Unawatuna Beach in Galle.
Badulla District won the Men's championship while Gampaha District annexed the Women's title at the two-day event that attracted teams from all Districts of Sri Lanka.
Trincomalee were Runners-up in the Men's segment, while Galle and Kegalle Districts were joint 3rd.
In the Women's segment Anuradhapura were Runners-up, while Badulla and Galle shared 3rd place.
The championship was organised jointly by the Sri Lanka Kabaddi Association and the Galle District Kabaddi Association.
