The United States (US) Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus visited the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee on Monday to witness the ongoing bilateral training between the Sri Lanka and US Navies, Navy said. The visiting US Secretary of the Navy was received by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne on his arrival at the Naval Dockyard.
During the cordial discussion held at the Navy House Trincomalee, they exchanged views on the ongoing bilateral training between the two navies. The Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinniah and senior officers from the Eastern Naval Command were also present on the occasion.
