Initiated to promote Islamic music in Sri Lanka the programme titled the Launch of Aswatuna – The Sufi Ensemble focused on musical traditions of the Muslim world found in the Middle East, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, Iran, Central Asia and South Asia.
