Badminton: Classic Championship from September 2 to 4

The Western Province Badminton Association’s 18th Classic Badminton Championship will be held from September 2 to 4, at Mercantile Badminton Courts, Malalasekera Mawatha, Colombo 7. 

Only individuals in the Western Province are eligible to take part in the tournament and all players should be residents of the Western Province. 

The Championship shall consist of Under-14 and 18 Boys/Girls - Singles and Doubles Over-20 Novices Men’s/Ladies – Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles, Over-40 Veterans Men’s – Singles and Doubles, Over 30 Veterans Women’s – Singles and Doubles. 

Entry forms could be obtained from SLBA office, MBA courts, Shuttle Power Club or download from www.wpba.lk. 

Entries will be closed on August 23 and should be handed over to the Tournament Secretary, WPBA, at Shuttle Power Badminton Club, 136, Poorwarama Road, Kirillapona, Colombo 5.
