The Head Office of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) will be closed on May 05, 2025 and May 06, 2025 due to local government elections.
The Commissioner General of the DMT, Kamal Amarasinghe told the times online as the Narahempita head office situated at Narahempita would be closed for two days as the building would be used as a polling center.
He said that even though the head office remains closed the Werahara branch office of the DMT would remain operational.
