A worker at the Kolonnawa oil storage terminal was killed this morning after he accidently fell into one of its oil tanks while testing its capacity.
The incident had occurred at about 7.20am today (14). The victim was rushed to the Colombo National Hospital but succumbed on admission.
The deceased has been identified as a 54-year-old resident of Katugoda, Delgoda. Wellampitiya Police are investigating.
