A wildlife photographer and researcher capturing images in the Bundala National Park recently came across a rare axis deer.
Scientist Dr. M K Randobage photographed this rare species of deer which is reported to have been last sighted in 1966, by Lyn De Alwis in the Wilpattu National Park.
