Students attached to the University of Jaffna staged a protest march demanding the government to resign immediately taking responsibility for inefficient governance and mismanagement of the economy that resulted current economic crisis.
Students commenced their protest in front of the university gate this morning and marched towards the Jaffna bus stand. Students held placards that read "Go Home Gota", "Resign now, enough is enough" chanting slogans saying the government put the future of the young generation bleak due to corruption, plundering of national resources, and nepotism.
