The Association of Medical Specialists (AMS) has called the President and Prime Minister to step down immediately.
The AMS in an open letter addressed to the public, civil organizations, professional bodies and political bodies, explained that multiple challenges are faced by the medical sector, due to the economic downturn in the country.
The AMS said it proposes that fuel distribution should be performed in a rational manner, leading to the ultimate benefit of the citizen.
They said that it is the responsibility of all citizens of the country to direct the government to find a solution for the present crisis.
Accusing the government of utilizing “divide and rule” to divert the situation, the AMS demands the President and Prime Minister to step down to create an all-party interim government and implement minimum effective measures.
The AMS is ready to urge various groups in the country to consider a nationwide trade union and peaceful protests if the letter is not taken into account, they said.
