In Pictures: War Heroes Remembered

The National War Heroes Commemoration Ceremony was held yesterday at the War Heroes Memorial near Parliament in Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte. 

The event was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. 

Many relatives of war heroes who gave their lives in service of the country were present on the occasion to honor and remember their lost loved ones.
