Underworld criminal leader Ruwan Kumara de Silva alias ‘Loku patty’ who was hiding in Belarus was brought back to Sri Lanka by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
He is wanted for investigations related to murders including the killing of ‘Club Wasantha’ shooting incidents and drug trafficking.
‘Loku patty’ had earlier served in the Sri Lanka Army.
The suspect who was brought back today morning was taken away to the Crime Division of the Western Province (South) for further questioning.
