Two more Third Year students of the Sabaragamuwa University's Faculty of Technology have been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the incident where a Second-Year student of the university took his own life after he was allegedly subjected to ragging by seniors.
The two undergraduates were taken into custody this morning by a team of CID officers in connection with their ongoing probe into the incident. They are due to be produced before the Balangoda Magistrate's Court.
The latest arrests bring the number of suspects arrested in connection with the incident to 10 thus far. The CID is continuing its investigation into the matter.
