The company found guilty of importing 607 metric tonnes of brown sugar violating the Customs Ordinance have paid Rs.160 million as fines to the Treasury, State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.
He said the stock of sugar was imported on January 09 despite import restrictions.
