One killed, five injured in accident near Kanatta junction,
One person was killed and five others were injured when a crane crashed into several vehicles and motor cycles near the Kanatta junction in Borella, today morning, Police said.
Police said they believe that the brakes of the vehicle had malfunctioned leading to the accident.
A three-wheel driver who witnessed the accident said the vehicles had stopped for the traffic lights when the crane lost control and crashed into the vehicles.
He said some of the bikes were found under the crane.
At least seven bikes and a car were damaged in the incident.
