The Attorney General is to indict 12 former armed forces personnel in the Colombo High Court next week on charges of the abduction and torture of journalist Keith Noyahr.
The indictments are being filed 17 years after Mr. Noyahr was abducted from near his home in Dehiwala and tortured in May, 2008.
Attempted murder, conspiracy for the abduction, assault and causing injuries are among 30 charges against them.
