An Iranian national trying to enter an European destination with a forged British passport has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport on Saturday night, Immigration officials said.
The 47 year old Iranian had planned to travel to Japan from Sri Lanka and then travel to another country before entring the European destination.
In a further search carried out the officials found his original passport issued from Iran.
