Intex Sri Lanka 2025, the 17th edition of the region’s premier textile and apparel sourcing fair will take place from August 6 to 8 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
Organized by Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Pvt. Ltd, the event anticipates over 2,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, including India, China, and the USA, and expects over 52,000 buyers from 35 countries.
The exhibition will showcase a wide array of products, including fibres, yarns, apparel and denim fabrics, clothing accessories, textile dyes and chemicals, testing equipment, and software solutions.
A significant highlight is the Interactive Business Forum (IBF), organized with the Moratuwa University Textile Association, which will host B2B sessions on critical topics such as "Apparel 2030: Re-stitching Fashion’s Next Chapter" and "Trust Over Trends: Building Brands Consumers Trust". These discussions will offer insights into future trends, bio-based fibres, circularity, smart clothing, and sourcing strategies. Distinguished speakers include Hemal Kannangara from Brandix Apparel and Marc Lewkowitz from SUPIMA.
Running concurrently, the third edition of INMAC 2025 will spotlight next-generation gartex machinery from countries like Germany and China, emphasizing advancements such as AI-powered inspection systems, digital print/dyeing technology, and energy-efficient fabric finishers.
The event also features the "Fashion Fiesta," an exclusive cultural night and fashion extravaganza for networking.
With $4.8 billion in apparel exports in 2023, Sri Lanka holds a strong global market position, and Intex Sri Lanka aims to further enhance its reputation as a leading textile and apparel sourcing destination by highlighting ethical and sustainable practices.
