Veteran broadcaster Hudson Samarasinghe has been appointed the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) with immediate effect, the Ministry of Media said.
Meanwhile, Jayampathy Bandara Heenkenda has been appointed the new Director-General of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC). Earlier Mr Samarasinghe served as head of SLBC until the regime change in 2015.
