A young hotel employee was killed in Moratuwa when a service lift of the hotel collapsed on to him, Police said today.
The employee Ravindu Peiris, 19 was loading plates and glasses into the lift when it collapsed, crushing him to death.
He was a resident of Panadura and been employed at the hotel for the past six months.
