The government is calling for the renewal of firearm license and security firm registration for the year 2024.
The firearm license renewal and the registration of security firms from October 01, 2023 to December 31, 2023. The registration and renewal of private security firms would be valid for 2024 to 2025.
As possession of a firearm without a valid license is a punishable offense under provisions of Section 22 of the Firearms Ordinance, therefore any renewals made after the deadline will be subjected to a fine or legal action.
