The fuel quota issued under the QR code system will be gradually increased, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara said today.
However, he said no decision has been taken to suspend the National Fuel Pass QR system from 10th April.
“NFP data will be analyzed to gradually increase the quotas allocated. Decisions on the system will be taken in consultation with Finance Ministry & other stakeholders in the next few months”, Mr WIjesekara said in a twitter message.
