Former Commissioner General of the Motor Traffic Department, Nishantha Weerasingha and two former staff members of the Department have been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) over registering a vehicle illegally..
They were arrested for registering the vehicle without proper documentation.
The suspects were later produced in the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court and remanded until July 8.
