A Bolivian lady was arrested by the officers attached to Narcotics Control Unit today morning at the green channel customs area with 4.6 kgs of substance suspicious to be cocaine concealed in cloth and back pack.
The susbtance was soaked in the cloth materials used for the jackets and cloth bags. Suspected lady was arrived from Brazil via dubai by the flight EK 650 operated by Emirates, according to officials attached to the Unit. She is 26 years old and this was her first overseas visit.
The street value of the substance suspected to be cocaine estimated as Rs 230 million. Investigation are underway by the narcotics Control unit customs officers with the assistance of police narcotics bureau.
