Results of the 2016 GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination were released this morning. Accordingly, Anuki Chamathka of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo has achieved the best overall results in the island at the exam.
S.M. Munasinghe of Mahamaya College, Kandy has been ranked second while R.M. Sugath Ravindu of Ananda College, Colombo, and Dimuth Oshadhi Mirissage of Rahula College, Matara have been placed joint third in the rankings.
H.B.Pabasara Malithi Kumari Herath of Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha has come fourth in the island. D.M. Ranumi Dhisarani Nanayakkara of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo and A. Damsara Medhavi of Sanghamitta Balika Vidyalaya of Galle and A. Abhinandan of Hindu College, Jaffna are joint fifth in all-island rankings. K.G.G.E Randini de Silva of Southlands College, Galle and E.A. Yasara Umashi of Sujatha Balika Vidyalaya, Matara have been ranked sixth.
