The Lakderana 2016 Tuk Tuk Polo Tournament took place this weekend at Marine Walk football field outside Galle Fort. There were 4 local teams and 4 international teams playing for the winning prize of Rs 200,000
Organised by Geoffrey Dobbs and his niece Rachel Dobbs, this was the second ever tuk tuk polo tournament, however last year it was much smaller. The hope is to take this sport to the next level and promote it as Sri Lanka’s hottest new sport! Congratulations to team Cantaloupe who were this year’s winners.
