The Grand Udawalawe Safari Resort recently hosted its traditional Christmas cake mixing ceremony, marking the start of the festive season in keeping with time-honoured custom. Held amidst a warm and cheerful atmosphere, the event brought together the resort’s management and staff, reflecting the spirit of unity and celebration that defines Christmas.

‘The ceremonial mixing of ingredients symbolised goodwill, prosperity and togetherness, as guests and team members took part in the age-old ritual believed to bring blessings for the season ahead’ said Chandana Pathma Kumara, the Director Operation of the Resort.
