Southbeach Weligama, a new apartment complex coming up on Sri Lanka’s west coast town of Weligama, had completed its first phase of construction, the completion of the raft foundation, ahead of schedule.
Within eight months since its launch, nearly 50 per cent of the apartments have already been sold, the company said in a media release.
Completion of the raft foundation also denotes that architect Balmond Studio is poised to complete the 106 apartment complex on schedule in December 2024. The complex offers exceptional value at a starting price of US$180,000. It currently has 40 per cent foreign and 60 per cent local purchasers.
SouthBeach Weligama is designed by internationally acclaimed design trailblazer Balmond Studio led by Sri Lankan born Cecil Balmond OBE, the world's leading thinker on form and structure. His son John leads the Southbeach Weligama project.
