
Mr. Andreas Streiber
Shangri-La Colombo has announced the appointment of Andreas Streiber as General Manager, effective immediately, the hotel said in a statement on Thursday.
A distinguished hospitality leader with decades of global experience in upscale hotel operations, Mr. Streiber brings a proven track record of elevating guest and colleague engagement, strengthening operational excellence, and delivering sustainable financial performance.
Prior to joining Shangri-La Colombo, he most recently served as General Manager of Shangri-La Bengaluru, India. His impressive 25-year journey with Shangri-La Group has seen him hold several senior leadership roles across China and India, contributing meaningfully to brand growth, service innovation, and performance excellence.
In his new role, he will oversee the overall strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Shangri-La Colombo, continuing to strengthen its position as one of the city’s most distinguished urban destinations.
