NDB Bank has further strengthened its commitment to enabling Sri Lankan students to pursue global academic opportunities through a recently-signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ABEC (Australian Business Education Centre), a leading international education consultancy.
The official signing ceremony was held with the participation of senior representatives from both organizations. Representing NDB Bank were Sanjaya Perera, Senior Vice President – Personal Banking & Customer Experience, and Zeyan Hemeed, Vice President – Retail Banking. ABEC was represented by its Managing Director, H.J.M. Dilip Kumara, and Executive Director, N.S Amarasinghe, the bank said in a media release.
Through this collaboration, NDB Bank will offer specialised financial services including tailored education loan schemes, foreign exchange services, and advisory support designed to ease the financial burden on students and their families. This initiative aligns with the bank’s mission of supporting Sri Lankans in achieving their aspirations while enhancing financial accessibility and convenience.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Perera stated, “At NDB, we believe in the transformative power of education.
