SCU CyberQuest 2026 Concludes, Empowering Future Cybersecurity Leaders

The CyberQuest 2026 National School Cybersecurity and Technology Competition, organised by SCU, was successfully concluded.
This competition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in cybersecurity and digital problem-solving. It also focused on promoting innovation and improving awareness of the safe use of technology. CyberQuest 2026 was successfully organized under the guidance and approval of the Ministry of Education.
For the first round of the competition, over 25 schools from the Western, Central, and North Western provinces participated. Following a competitive selection process, 11 top-performing schools were selected for the final round.
The grand finale was held on March 27, 2026 at the SCU Turret Towers premises. The event was made vibrant with the participation of school students, teachers, and distinguished guests.
During the final round, students were given the opportunity to showcase their technical expertise, teamwork, and innovative thinking through advanced cybersecurity challenges and real-world problem-solving activities.
According to the final results:
- 1st Place – Ananda Balika Vidyalaya
- 2nd Place – Good Shepherd Convent
- 3rd Place – Visakha Vidyalaya
Winners were awarded cash prizes and special awards, while all participating students were recognised with certificates and gifts in appreciation of their dedication.
