Minight Club unveils regional expansion model
Minight Club successfully hosted the Minight February Negombo Escape and Pool Day on February 1, marking a significant milestone in the club’s journey with the official unveiling of its regional expansion model. The drive commenced from the extended area of Marine Drive, Colombo, a location normally restricted for public vehicle access.
From Colombo, the convoy proceeded to Negombo via the scenic Lagoon Road, providing an ideal driving experience with minimal traffic. Two major announcements were made during the event, highlighting key achievements and future direction. The first announcement was delivered by Minight Club Founder, Sivatharsan, who proudly revealed that Minight Club has been featured in the internationally recognised Mini World Magazine, bringing global recognition to Sri Lanka’s classic Mini community.
The second announcement, made by Minight Club President,Umesh Akshayan, officially unveiled the club’s regional expansion model. As the first phase of this initiative, Minight Club Kandy has been launched, with registrations now open for Mini enthusiasts from Kandy through the official website.
A pilot run for the Kandy region will be conducted soon, marking the beginning of Minight Club’s expansion beyond Colombo.
The event was supported by Minight Club’s partners, Streets of Ceylon as the Creative Media and Engagement Partner and Drivepixels as the Photography Partner, who covered the event throughout the day. The presence of Brand Ambassador Anderson Haran added further value to the occasion.
