Chaos at BIA as war erupts in West Asia

With US and Israeli missiles fired into Iran, and Iran directing missile attacks on Israel and US bases across West Asia, chaos reigned at Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday as flights to and from West Asian countries were cancelled or delayed, while airline officials struggled to find alternate arrangements and accommodations for stranded passengers.
