Lanka.tax, a leading tax preparation and advisory services company, announced the launch of its Cyclone Ditwah Relief Support initiative, offering substantial tax filing assistance to both flood-affected individuals and those who donated to relief efforts.

Under the initiative, eligible Lankans will receive 75% off professional tax filing services and complimentary access to Lanka.tax’s 24/7 Tax Concierge — a dedicated support service providing personalised guidance on tax matters via WhatsApp.

“The devastation caused by Cyclone Ditwah has touched every corner of our nation,” said Mahesh Yogarajan, Chief Executive Officer of Lanka.tax and President of the Rotary Club of Colombo Uptown. “For those rebuilding their lives, a tax return should not be another source of stress. And for those who stepped forward to help their fellow citizens, we believe their generosity deserves recognition. This initiative is our way of standing with both groups during this difficult time.”

Mr Yogarajan’s commitment to relief efforts extends beyond Lanka.tax. Under his leadership, the Rotary Club of Colombo Uptown has provided flood relief assistance to affected individuals in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts, two regions significantly impacted by Cyclone Ditwah.

“Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by affected communities through our Rotary relief work, I felt compelled to extend support through Lanka.tax as well,” Mr Yogarajan added. “When Sri Lankans come together in times of crisis, we demonstrate the resilience and compassion that define our nation.”
