Senior Superintendent of Police and Former President of the Re-tired Senior Police Officers’ Association) Upali Tissa Pieris Seneviratne, beloved husband of Shiranee, loving father of Rajind and father-in-law of Savithri, darling seeya of Avindha & Esmee and Ashenka, brother of Gamini, Rukmani, Duranthi and the late Preeni, passed away peacefully on 31st October, 2025. The funeral took place on 3rd November, 2025 at the General Cemetery, Borella with full Police honours. STM 272600
