Lehansa: Star is born
View(s):The Lasith Perera Music Academy (LPMA) is excited to introduce Lehansa, a promising young artiste currently in Grade 12 at Girls’ High School in Kandy, poised to make her mark on the music scene.
Emerging artiste Lehansa is set to release her brand-new music video, ‘Tharuwak Se’, with music produced by Omith Perera and lyrics penned by Omith Perera and Amil Kulathunge. The project is directed by Lasith Perera, with styling and design by the talented Waruni de Silva.
The team is preparing for a global release across all major platforms, including YouTube, Vivo, iTunes, Spotify, as well as television and radio networks worldwide. A grand launch ceremony took place on Saturday, November 1st, where all media representatives and fans gathered to witness this milestone in her budding music career.
‘Tharuwak Se’ is already generating excitement and is being recognised as one of the most anticipated hits in recent music history.
Lasitha Perera Music Academy (LPMA), a well-established institution in Kandy since 1996, began with just a handful of students and has since trained over 9,000 aspiring artistes. The academy attracts students from prominent schools across Sri Lanka as well as overseas and serves professionals including doctors, lecturers, engineers, teachers and university students.
LPMA provides a secure and supportive environment for learners of all genders, encouraging creativity through unplugged concerts, audio and video productions, and opportunities to participate in television performances. The academy has also produced several popular audio releases, helping to shape the next generation of Sri Lanka’s music talent.
