New team takes wheel at Vehicle Importers’ Association AGM
View(s):The Vehicle Importers Association of Sri Lanka (VIASL) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently at the Shangri-La Colombo, bringing together industry leaders, stakeholders, and representatives from prominent financial institutions—seen as an important milestone in the Association’s calendar.
The AGM reviewed the achievements of the past year and outlined the strategic vision for the year ahead. A key highlight was the appointment of new office bearers.

At a critical time as the industry continues to face various regulatory and operational challenges, the newly appointed leadership team brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to advancing the interests of vehicle importers across Sri Lanka, a VIASL statement said.
VIASL expressed its confidence in the new team’s ability to effectively represent the sector’s interests and to strengthen collaboration with key government institutions and industry stakeholders.
