Sri Lanka Medical Association honors Prof Rezvi Sheriff at international congress

The highest honour was given to Vidyajyothi Emeritus Professor Rezvi Sheriff by the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) during the 138th Anniversary International Medical Congress.
The Inauguration Ceremony and the SLMA Oration 2025 Awarding of the Fellowships was held on Wednesday, July 23, at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
Professor Steve Turner, President, Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health from UK was chief guest.
Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health Dr Asela Gunawardena and President of the Indian Medical Association Dr Dilip Banushali were special guests.
Dr Anil Jasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media was guest of honor.
SLMA President Dr Surantha Perera presided over the function.
Vidyajyothi Emeritus Professor Lalitha Mendis was also honored at this occasion.
