‘Rhythm of the Guitar’ – the long awaited musical now showing in cinemas captures the story of Sinhala pop legend Clarence Wijewardena. Directed by Theja Iddamalgoda and produced by Thusitha Wijayasena, the biopic, the first of its kind in the Sinhala film industry had its premiere at the Kandy City Centre (KCC) Multiplex late last month.

Damith Wijayatunga plays the main role of Clarence with Nihari Perera as Sheela Wijewardena and Sarange Disasekere as Annesley Malawana.

The star-studded premiere saw the cast and special guests from the film industry on the red carpet.
